Any museum is a miniature reflection of a country’s, State’s past times. A vivid picture of the tradition ,custom and conventions of the country is showcased by a museum. Dnyanada English school, Beed by pass, Satara parisar got a chance to visit the “Shrimant Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj purana vastu sangrahalaya” on 18th October 2023. Students of step 4 and step 6 review the past events with the help of artefacts.The museum building is robust and majestic. The museum has various departments that have collectibles and artifacts of various periods like satavahana, kushana, Mughals, Marathas etc .The realistic paintings of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj were very captivating.
The students were Amazed to see the coins of different eras, idols of goddesses ,weapons used in a war ,pictures of various forts,strong and different shapes of utensils for domestic use and various types of swords kept there. The guns and the canon ball in the museum were the main attraction of the day.
